Bukovyna

Our Bukovyna is unique and young, like a shy girl in a wreath. Due to historic conditions Bukovyna is located on the territory of two neighbouring countries – Ukraine and Romania. The majority of Chernivtsi region is historical North Bukovyna, while South Bukovyna covers the territory of modern Suceava county of

Romania. Joint traditions, cultural customs create special spirit of tolerance and mutual understanding living among Bukovynians of many nations – Ukrainians, Romanians, Poles, Jews, Germans, Armenians etc. These features typical for all Bukovynians, special atmosphere of hospitality break the borders, and unique Bukovyna, rich in cultural heritage, gladly meets the guests.
